Tips to overcome limiting beliefs with affirmations:
Put them on your bathroom mirror or on a post it note in the car or by the coffee maker where you’ll see them everyday.
Recite them out loud or in your head multiple times.
Write them out in your journal.
Record them and listen to them on your commute or break.
Another tip is listening to an affirmations recording right before you fall asleep at night when the subconscious is the most vulnerable. There are tons of free YouTube affirmations recordings.
Reprogram Your Subconscious
It will seem silly, weird and even uncomfortable at first. This is because your subconscious is working very hard to keep the status quo. It doesn’t like change.
But over time, this repetition will begin to sink in. You CAN change your story. It takes time and it takes dedication but it can be done.
You don’t have to live out the same story as your parents, friends or co-workers. You have the ability to create a new story and a new life for yourself. But you have to want it bad enough that you’re willing to work on it everyday.
